This definitely looks like a good book to pick up, and I don't know how I missed its publication back in 1998. At 560 pages, Art of Fact: A Historical Anthology of Literary Journalism boasts an impressive roster of modern authors such as HST, Tom Wolfe and Gay Talese. But there are also selections from James Boswell (biographer of Samuel Johnson) and Walt Whitman. HST's selection in this volume edited by Kevin Kerrane and Ben Yagoda is "The Scum Also Rises" which originally appeared as an article in Rolling Stone and can be found in The Great Shark Hunt.
